Andaleeb Wajid

Andaleeb Wajid is a prolific Bangalore-based author known for her engaging young adult romances, psychological thrillers and nuanced Muslim-themed fiction. She has published over 35 books including My Brother's Wedding, Asmara's Summer, More Than Just Biryani, The Henna Start-Up—which earned her the 2024 Neev Book Award—and the Tamanna Trilogy. Her writing spans genres from heartwarming coming-of-age stories (No Time for Goodbyes) to dark suspense (The Summoned). An English Lit graduate and MBA holder, Wajid also conducts creative writing workshops.
